1 HACIA UN ESTUDIO DE GÉNEROS CINEMATOGRÁFICOS: CINE DE TERROR E IDENTIDAD EN CHILE Jorge Orlando Meza Pavis 1 UNIVERSIDAD DE LA FRONTERA FACULTAD DE EDUCACIÓN Y HUMANIDADES MAGÍSTER EN CIENCIAS DE LA COMUNICACIÓN jorgemezap@gmail.com RESUMEN El presente trabajo pretende marcar las primeras directrices de lo que pudiera ser un futuro estudio de los géneros cinematográficos en Chile. Para llevar acabo este artículo hemos decidido trabajar con el cine de terror realizado en nuestro país, ya que tiene una data relativamente nueva, además se revisarán sus exiguos discursos audiovisuales en el periodo 2000-2009. Nos hemos basado en algunos autores estructuralistas y provenientes de la semiótica. La idea es contextualizar como se ha dado la apertura a estos incipientes matices creativos en nuestra filmografía y comprender los malos resultados obtenidos a través de estas nuevas propuestas narrativas. Además revisaremos el concepto del “miedo” y la obsesión del ser humano para ver este tipo de películas en pos de sentirse vulnerable. ABSTRACT This paper aims to highlight the first guidelines of what could be a future study of film genres in Chile. To carry out this article we have chosen to work with horror films made in our country, because it has a relatively new data also will be reviewed their meager audiovisual speech in the period 2000-2009. We built on some authors from structuralist semiotics. The idea is to contextualize as has been opening these budding creative nuances in our filmography and understand the poor results obtained from these new proposals narratives. Also review the concept of "fear" and the obsession of the human being to see these films in pursuit of feeling vulnerable.
