O. Box 50, AL- Huson, 21510, Jordan Abstract The present study seeks to explore the degree of change management practices among academic decision makers at Al Balaqa Applied University. Participants (N=49) were recruited from academic decisions makers population at the campuses of (Ajloun, Irbid, Alhusn, Princess Rahma, and Princess Alia University Colleges) during the academic year 2012/2013. The study instrument was 41-item questionnaire including five areas: (planning, decision-making, teaching, scientific research, and management). Results show no statistically significant differences at (α=0.05) attributed to variable (academic rank, teaching experience, managerial experience). Further, there were statistically significant differences attributed to variable "job title", with differences being in favor of job title 'professor". The authors recommends involvement of local community actors in planning for education and community service programs, monitor implementation, and setting up training courses, workshops, and conferences.
