To do this survey, 35 elite volleyball players in Semnan Who were chosen. OMSAT-3 and T. Bradberry & J. Greaves (2005) questionnaire were used to collect data. Correlation analysis results between the variables (P<0.05) showed that: there is a significant positive relationship between the emotional intelligence and mental skills components such as: Goal setting, self-confidence, commitment, relaxation, focusing, Imagery, and mental practice. But there was no significant relationship between the emotion intelligence and mental skills components: Stress control, fear control, Activation, Refocusing, and Competition planning.
