A New View on Business Processes in Digital Economy Zora Arsovski 1 , . Pere Tumbas 3 , Slavko Arsovski 2 , Zoran Kalinic 1 1 Introduction A business processes concepts are changing in function of changing of stakeholder’s needs and environment pressure. One of the more influential factors is development and implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT). In modern economy, the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) in different business segments becomes increasingly important, while achieving synergy effects in the areas of efficiency, productivity, system reorganization, supply chain management, customer relationship management, creation of virtual organizations, redesign and improvement of business processes, collaboration and communication. The role of ICT is not only to speed up, simplify and enhance the quality of business processes but also to influence on the concept and the ways of business processes performing, as well as efficient and effective internal and external communication between the processes in different organizations involved in the creation of new value. Digital economy represents the modern way of doing business that involves intensive use of ICT in order to increase the level of knowledge and thus improve internal and external business processes those are implemented within the enterprise and between business partners. The term digital economy in the literature has been used interchangeably with terms new economy or knowledge-based economy, and it is based on scientific, expert, expertise and market knowledge, and creativity and innovation of the society as a whole. Digital economy in the broader context represents a strategic paradigm of the modern society and the state in the XXI century 1,2 .
