Because of the broad and subjective area of interest while talking about “First Class Mentality”, integrity and leadership would be the major focus of discussion and community college is used as an illustrative case in this article. As being part of the system in higher learning, integrity and leadership is crucial in bringing out the best out of the lecturers in community colleges and how the values would correlate with the responsibility of being a lecturer is inevitable as lecturers have great influence over the entire community. The outcome of nurturing “First Class Mentality” among the lecturers would eventually results in unleashing the potential of the students under their care and this would be a great example of win-win situation that would in the end, not only beneficial to the Malaysian educational system itself but also to the community at large.
