JOSELANO GUEVARRA, complainant, vs. ATTY. JOSE EMMANUEL EALA, respondent. Joselano Guevarra filed a Complaint for Disbarment1 before (IBP) Commiee on Bar Discipline against Ay. Jose Emmanuel M. Eala a.k.a. Noli Eala (respondent) for "grossly immoral conduct and unmigated violaon of the lawyer's oath." Uevarra alleged that he met eala when his fiancée Irene introduced him as her friend who was married to tantoco and had 3 children. Aſter his marriage to Irene, he noced that Irene had been receiving from respondent cellphone calls, as well as messages some of which read "I love you," "I miss you," or "Meet you at Megamall." Unl he saw the two together on two occasions. On the second occasion, he confronted them following which Irene abandoned the conjugal house. And eventually found a love leer from Eala to Irene dated their wedding day. He alleged that according to their friends, Irene was pregnant. He averred that the two were flaunng their adulterous rel as they aended social funcons together, taking pictures together. Eala denied such allegaon , accdg to him their rel was low profile and known only to the immediate members of their respecve families, and that Respondent, as far as the general public was concerned, was sll known to be legally married to Mary Anne Tantoco. Guevarra alleged that their affair demonstrates gross moral depravity, making him morally unfit to keep his membership in the bar Eala argued that his relaonship with Irene was not under scandalous circumstances. Eala maintained a civil rel with tantoco even if she is aware of Respondent's special friendship with Irene. Guevarra also alleged that Irene gave birth to a girl and Irene named respondent in the Cerficate of Live Birth as the girl's father.
