She built an organization ‘Karma Nirvana’ as a consultation place for those who need a help from violence and forced marriage, after experiencing her sister's own death, Robina, consequence of forced marriage and burnt herself to death to escape from her husband. As a victim of forced marriage at her age of 15, Jasvinder eventually ran away from home making her family shame. But, she wanted to stand up from her nightmare and come to help others who experienced that such case. She was firstly assisted by women, Shazia and Anna, and a man, Imran, who experienced it before. First, they consulted their problem to Jasvinder, then they decided to be like Jasvander, helped others form their misery. Shazia (17) was taken to Pakistan by her parents and forced to marriage with a stranger and exiled by her husband and family by now. Imran, the first man client, is a victim of forced marriage and then a few after wedding, he divorced his wife. Jasvinder was often invited to cooperate with police and some detectives to overcome these such problems. The victims as her clients were written in this novel, Daughters of Shame. Uzma was battered to death by a baseball bat by her husband, Arshad. He killed Uzma in the bedroom. Sanah was a young girl who was forced to marry a Pakistan man. Kiren was forced by her family into marriage just because she was in the same group as her boy friend. Heshu Yones (16), a victim of forced marriage, was killed by her father with 17 stabs.
