El estudio comprende la documen- tación del tema, que incorpora levantamiento en 3d del soporte con integración del motivo calcado, los resultados del análisis in situ de la pintura, mediante luorescencia de Rayos-X, y una valoración de su in- terés en términos arqueológicos. A partir del estilo de la representación y los paralelos existentes en el arte parietal y mueble del Mediterráneo ibérico se propone una cronología magdaleniense. El tipo de soporte y su ubicación son aspectos tratados de manera particular. Finalmente se formulan algunas relexiones sobre la entidad del arte magdaleniense en esta misma región. Abstract: We report the discovery of a shelter with an equine painted with a red linear trace and located in Requena (Valencia). he study includes the 3d documentation of the pictograph and the rock support, the in situ analysis by X-ray luorescence spectrometry, and an assessment of their archaeolo- gical interest. A Magdalenian chronology is proposed on the basis of the style and the similarity of this igure with the parietal and mobiliar art of the Iberian Mediterranean basin. he type of support and the location of the pictograph are aspects that are treated in a particular way.
