Abstract- The technique of hiding the data in the interpolation
error based on histogram shifting mechanism and pixel
difference expansion in the stereo image. The embedding secret
data into interpolation error has high payload and low distortion.
In this paper propose a steganalysis scheme based on histogram
deviation in the interpolation error of an image. In particular the
statistical feature that are extracted from the subsample image of
interpolation error. To improve the accuracy of detection rate,
support vector machine used as classifier. The experimental
result shows that the proposed steganalysis scheme has better
accuracy in detection the stego images.
Index Terms- Steganography, steganalysis, interpolation error.
I. INRODUCTION
Steganography is the system of hiding undisclosed
information into an innocuous-looking cover medium to
conceal the information existence. The main goal of
Steganography is that except information senders and
receivers no one can aware about the existence of secret data.
It meets both legal as well as illegal interests. For instance,
civilians, bankers, may use for protecting confidentiality and
terrorists may use for spreading terroristic information.
Basically undisclosed information can be hiding in domains
such as audio, video, text and image.
For hiding the message in the innocuous-looking cover
medium the mono image or stereo image is select as a cover
image. Then by using the steganography tool that are available
as a online tool or by the new pioneering capricious technique
the message can be hide within the cover medium by the help
of key(can be added for security).
The basic Steganography technique is shown in figure 1.
With the advantage of capricious technique, terrorists use this
art for sending their destructive messages throughout the
world with the help of internet.

1) Steganography
In digital Steganography reversible data hiding provides
more robust when hiding the payload message. This reversible
data hiding methods used in application such as defense,
medical, astronomical images etc. The reason behind using
reversible data hiding is that the cover image can be restored
again from a stego image once extracting the hidden message.
Higher payload has been achieved in this reversible data
hiding. The technique behind the interpolation error based data
hiding is that (Luo et al.2010) [1] by using the interpolation
error, the secret data can be embed rather than the prediction
error or inter pixel difference. This achieved by combines the
histogram shifting technique and difference expansion.
Tian et al. [2] proposed the difference expansion
performed by addition rather than bit stream or bit shifting.
The main problem of difference expansion is that after
embedding the data, some pixel pairs may overflow or
underflow. Hence it cannot be used for data embedding.
