with Marco Bigliazzi
ARTIST BIO
Marco Bigliazzi was born in 1963 in Pontedera, near Pisa. He studied History
of Art at the University of Pisa, where he graduated in History of Town
Planning focusing on the new towns in the Paris region. He then moved on
to movie-making, digital animation and new media and eventually founded
Toposodo Independent Productions, where he wrote and directed several
animated shorts and TV series for the international broadcast market. He
has drawn and painted since childhood and has never stopped. He wrote
and illustrated the book Pisa (Felici Editore, 1986). The most important
exhibition of his paintings and drawings was held at the SMS Art Centre
in Pisa, June–August 2011. His filmography (http://www.imdb.com/name/
nm3118716/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1) includes: The Bonaventure (shorts, 2002),
Peperony (short, 2003), Bird Squad (26x13’ TV series, 2008), and Taratabong!
(52x7’ TV series, 2010).
