INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION Industrial Automaon is a branch of science which ulizes the concept of various types of engineering such as chemical, electronics, telecommunicaons, electrical as well as soſtware and computer engineering. It is diversified in nature and thus has wide applicaons in various fields of engineering like architecture, agriculture, environmental protecon, medical, trade etc . Engineers have several choices to invent new technology in these fields and apply the same. There is earnest need of technology in Industrial Automaon as it has constraint of resources . It uses the technique such as numerical control, programmable logic control, computer aided technologies (CAD, CAM, CAx) to control the machineries and accomplish the job. In Automaon, machines can be operated by computer and no separate special machines are required for different types of work. Industrial Automaon has several advantages like there is no need for workers to control machines and observe the processes all the me. Many mes work has to be done in hazardous situaons like in nuclear area, near the volcanoes, fire, under the water tasks, in space etc, these are done by technical processes. Various tasks which are difficult to handle like picking up heavy loads and objects, hot or cold substances etc can be easily done with the help of automated machines in few seconds. Somemes target oriented tasks are difficult to be achieved, that is done by Industrial Automaon more quickly. Improvement in the field of economy by various enterprises is upbringing the technology without any investment. So therefore the automaon is directly proporonal to the economy. Every coin has two sides. If there is advantage of something, side by side there is disadvantage also. Technology is also manmade. So without man technology is nothing. Cost of living is increasing which is making difficult for poor families to meet end. Also technology and automaon needs huge investment which is difficult to arrange inially.
