AETT03 – 1 / 15 (pp. 409 – 423) NMV13AETT03 ANALYSI S OF LOAD ON POWER TRANSMI SSI ON WI TH CLEARANCE Milanko Damjanović*, Sreten Simović*, Radan Durković* Čedomir Duboka** * Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Podgorica, MNE * * Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Belgrade, SRB ABSTRACT This paper deals with the impact of load on motor vehicle transmission system, represented in the form of elasto-inertial torsion model with clearance in-between element connexion. The elasto- inertial transmission model includes external exciting activities originating from the drive engine and surface friction. We have also defined the elastic connexion momentum values due to excitation from drive engine and movement friction. On the basis of analytical method, we created a simulation model and presented simulation results. Apart from analytical method we have showed the experimental results of the influence of the clearance in the half axle of a motor vehicle on the torsion moment values. All of the results were obtained while the wheel was crossing over uneven surface of a defined geometry. KEYWORDS: Load, Power Transmission, Clearance, Mathematical Model, Simulation
