Abstract The experimental negotiation support system INSPIRE has been used by over 2000 negotiators worldwide in experimental negotiations. In a survey conducted among those users, their reaction to that system and Internet-based negotiation support in general has been highly positive. This paper presents results of an exploratory study using an extension of the Technology Acceptance Model to identify factors that influence user’s perception of Internet- based negotiation support systems. Our results indicate that both individual factors and negotiation outcomes might be important factors influencing users’ attitudes toward such systems. * Acknowledgments.
