Many of them are oriented to facilitate student’s work or adapting existing systems to their needs. We are interested to improve teachers and instructional designer’s activities. Learning Objects are of great importance at present, since they are basic pieces in different types of computer based learning systems. In this chapter a new approach of data mining used in e-learning is presented. A method and tool to extract and process relevant data from Learning Objects is introduced. A major question is intended to solve: which data must be considered to be processed to discover important rules about usability of Learning Objects in different environments? I. INTRODUCTION: FORMULATION. LEARNING OBJECTS An increasing interest exists about to use Learning Objects to facilitate the reutilization, distribution and personalization of educational contents in Internet. Learning Objects promote the portability and the interoperability of learning resources between the e-learning systems. They are widely used in Learning Management Systems and in Distance Education but they are also used as aids in business training and even in various forms of informal education.
