Background: An MZ phenotype alpha-1 antitrypsin [AAT] deficiency and fi- bromyalgia syndrome [FMS] patient participated in a trial with AAT-intravenous augmentation- therapy [AAT-IV-AT] after failure of conventional therapeutic measures.
