LAND USE PLANNING 1 by Godfrey Nyakatembo 1.1 Introduction The farm on the map is locally known as Nyanguru farm located in Mutare, along the Harare Mutare road. It is in the Manicaland Province which is the Eastern Border Highlands and on Geology the land is from Igneous rocks {made form molten rock} mainly granite. The mapped farm areas have a total hectare of 705.8 that consists of 231.3 that are arable and about 492.5 hectares that are non-arable. The arable area is divided into ten fields that are labeled on the map.
