Bunlar arasinda en srk gorOlen patoloji ise ekstranodal marjinal zon B hOcreli lenfornalardrr. Genellikle parotis bezinde agnslz sislik seklinde ortaya crkarlar, Tarn gogunlukla parotidektomi ile konur. Bu yazrda, Og ylldlr sistemik steroid tedavisine iyi yarut veren ve tedavi kesildikten sonra tekrarlayan siyaladenit ataklan ile basvuran 46 yasmda bir erkek hasta sunuldu. Hastaya rekOren parotit on tarns: ile kesin taru ve tedavi arnach total parotidektomi planlandi. YOzeyel parotidektomi sirasmda yapilan donuk kesit biyopsi incelemesi sonrasi lenfoma tarns: konuldu ve ameliyata son verildi. Lenfomalann primer olarak parotis bezine yer- lesimi cok nadir oldugu gibi parotis bezinde yer- lesen bir tiimoriin lenfoma olma olasihg: da cok azdir. Ancak primer tukuruk bezi lenfomasi olan olgularm cogu major tukuruk bezlerinde, bunla- rm da buyuk bir kisrru parotis bezinde yerlesim Parotid gland located lymphomas are rarely seen. The most common lymphomas involving salivary gland include B-ceIiMALT (mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue) lymphomas. Of them, extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphomas are the most fre- quently seen pathologies . They usually present with painless swelling of the parotid gland. The diagnosis is often based on parotidectomy. In this article, we report a 46-year-old male patient who was admitted with recurrent sialadenitis attacks which responded well to steroid treatment for three years, but recur after the cessation of the therapy. With the initial diagnosis of recurrent parotitis, the patient was scheduled for total parotidectomy for the definitive diagnosis and treatment. When the frozen-section of specimens during superficial parotidectomy revea- led lymphoma, the operation was terminated.
