About the Authors Carmine Pasquale Cerrato Carmine Pasquale Cerrato obtained his BSc in 2011 and MSc with honors in medical and pharmaceutical biotechnology in 2012 from the University of Florence (Italy). He joined for 6 months the Adriano Aguzzi group at the University of Z¨ urich/ETH (Z¨ urich, Switzerland), and he is now a PhD student at Stockholm University (Sweden) in Professor ¨ Ulo Langel’s group. He is interested in cell-penetrating peptide and tumor and mitochondrial targeting. Kadi-Liis Veiman Kadi-Liis Veiman obtained her BSc in 2011 and MSc in 2013 in genetic engineering, respectively, from the University of Tartu (Tartu, Estonia). She is currently a PhD student in the field of biomedicine and works in Professor ¨ Ulo Langel’s laboratory in University of Tartu. Her main scientific interests are in cell-penetrating peptides, peptide-based conjugates and their potential in delivery in vitro and in vivo. ¨ Ulo Langel ¨ Ulo Langel is a Professor at the Department of Neurochemistry, Stockholm University. He started as a junior research fellow in Tartu University and eventually became an associate professor and then professor; he was an associate professor at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA, USA. He was also a research fellow in Stockholm University, where he eventually became an Associate Professor, then a Professor, and then a Chairman. He is also an honorary professor at Ljubljana University, Slovenia, and adjunct professor at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, CA, USA.
