Job satisfaction Background: Job satisfaction is one of the most prominent variables in organization behavior. It is employee’s attitudinal response to his or her organization. Job satisfaction is the way to measure how much loyal and committed an employee towards his/her organization. Job satisfaction has been defined in many different ways. There are some keys like salary, job engagement, job security, job rotation, job enrichment, job environment which help to measure employee satisfaction. On the other hand organization managerial style and culture has great effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction of employees in an organization is the indicator of organization future. There are two sectors of job. One is public sector another one is private sector. There are differences available in public and private organization. So the elements/indicators of job satisfaction are also varying in public and private organization. Because of the management, job environment and most importantly the job empowerment are totally different in these two sectors. So we want to define their satisfaction levels. Literature Review : (Ruchi & Surinder, 2014) did research on the impact of working environment on job satisfaction. They did survey on 100 employees of Domino Pizza (world’s second largest pizza chain). They found good working condition, cooperative relationship with peer, superiors and subordinates, refreshment and recreation facility, health and safety facility and fun at workplace increase the degree of job satisfaction. On the other hand workload, stress, overtime, fatigue, and boredom are some factors that indicate job dissatisfaction. (Akpan, 2013) did a research on the relationship between job security and job satisfaction. He did survey among university teachers in cross river state, Nigeria. And saw that job security is a determinant of organizational commitment. After that survey the researcher found that job security and job satisfaction jointly and significantly predict organizational commitment of academic staff. Job security is an ultimate driver of job satisfaction. They view job security as an extrinsic comfort that has a positive relation with worker’s commitment and performance.
