Knowledge Termination: The End of the Game? Péter Fehér Abstract (English, angol) Knowledge termination is the last, but mostly unperformed task in the knowledge life cycle. It is the process that describes the process of selecting and deleting unusable knowledge items. Through performing knowledge termination, organisations can avoid loosing efficiency in the knowledge management practice by waiting for the search results, selecting the real useful knowledge items, or using worthless, irrelevant items. In the research of knowledge termination two knowledge intensive consulting companies have been explored deeply, and some other (consulting and non-consulting) organisations partly. Abstract (magyar, Hungarian) A “Knowledge termination” (tudás megszüntetés) a tudás életciklus utolsó, és egyben legkevésbé végrehajtott feladata. Ez az a folyamat, melyben a használaton kívül esı, vagy használhatatlan tudáselemek kiválasztása és törlése (archiválása) megtörténik. A feladat elvégzésével a szervezetek megelızhetik a tudásmenedzsment gyakorlatuk hatékonyságvesztését, a keresési idık, a megfelelı elem kiválasztása, a hibás elemek használatából eredı károk esetében.
