BRAUN spec. nov., and M. jaczewskii U. BRAUN nom. nov. Taxonomy and nomenclature of Microsphuera on Viburnum are discussed. The European Microsphaera on Viburnum opulus L. and the North American forms are considered to belong to one species. Microsphaera aparea HOWE is the correct name. Microsphaera auf Viburnum opulus L. in Europa und die nordamerikanischen Forinen werden als eine Art betrachtet. Der korrekte Name dafiir ist Microsphaera sparsa HOWE. Microsphaera hedwigii Ldv. auf Viburnum lanata L. wird auf Rangstufe der Art beibehalten. 1. Some notes about the genus Ergsiphe The author is engaged in a revision of the genus Erysiphe. It turned out that some taxa of t h e Erysiphe polygoni and Erysiphe cichoracearum complex are sufficiently different from the related species. They are regarded as new species.
