Many navigation systems which take fuel consumption into account have been developed to assist travelers on route selection. The aim of this paper is to present a navigation system based on the concept of fuel-economy (minimal energy consumption) that is able to provide travelers the shortest travel time/distance. The system is constructed from data collected with closed- circuit television (CCTV) and on the platform of Visual Basic .NET.
