Para este estudo, foi escolhido o filme , dirigido por Suzana Amaral em 1985, baseado no livro homnimo de Clarice Lispector, publicado em 1977. As personagens sªo construdas a partir de indicaıes do texto subjetivo de Clarice Lispector e a cineasta realizou um trabalho profundo de identificaªo com o texto para da compor essas personagens de forma convincente e slida. Detentor de prŒmios no Festival de Berlim, reaviva as premiaıes do cinema nacional no exterior, nªo s pela qualidade do filme como pelo trabalho de adaptaªo literÆria que foi considerado impecÆvel pela crtica especializada. ; Clarice Lispector; Suzana Amaral; Cinema LiterÆrio This paper investigates the process of creative adaptation of Literary Cinema, with the main aim of analyzing language and transformation from literary text to film text. To this study, it was chosen the film , directed by Suzana Amaral in 1985, and based on the homonymous novel by Clarice Lispector, published in 1977. The characters are built from indications of the subjective text by Clarice Lispector and the filmmaker did an extensive work of identification with the text in order to compose those characters in a convincing and solid way. Awarded with prizes in Berlin Film Festival, revives the prizes of national cinema abroad not only for its high quality standard but also for literary adaptation work considered Ncea Helena Nogueira (CES/JF)
