Massive investments are being made in the modernization of enterprise networks of diverse service orga- nizations, such as telecommunicatio ns and health-care providers. Organizations need to adapt to changing business environment, such as the deregulation of telecommu- nication services. This necessitates a seamless integration of business management processes with enterprise network management processes. Hence there is a need for the formulation of new methodologies for the re-engineering of management solutions (with focus on integrated business processes), though most present day solutions con- centrate on the management of network equipment only. This paper presents a new methodology for the reengineering of the management processes for enterprise net- works, based on Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) techniques. INTRODUCTION The emerging development of virtual corporations, networks and facilities raises the specter of re-engineering of management processes for future enterprise net- works. There is also a trend towards adopting successful cooperative manage- ment models, such as help-desk, in a wide variety of business processes. How- ever, recent studies have shown that existing implementations of these models leave much to be desired [1].
