The modus operandi endows with an additional stratum of security over the traditional cryptographic system. The proposed system exchanges information and keys in a secured mode, wherein exchange of keys, also known as “positional-lock” is ensured in the first phase and exchange of information is ensured in the second phase. The proposed system also furnishes an additional wrap over the keys by encapsulating the key information by means of QR Code. The proposed system tracks the position of the receiver by using a Global Positioning System (GPS) device and retrieves the positional information, that is, latitude, longitude and altitude. The positional information of the receiver along with the positional information of the sender, collectively acts as the parameter to the function which is used to create keys or “positional-lock.” The order of the information may not be alike at every instant. The order of the parameters depends upon the sorted value of the parameters after decimal place, thereby furnishing additional security, each and every time the information is being exchanged. The proposed system ensures massive impact on the society, conjuring up a well established cryptographic methodology, which can be used to improve the security mechanism of an assortment of existing systems. The proposed system can be employed in databases as well as in data warehouses to curb unauthorized users from accessing information. If implemented properly, utilization can be adhered in distributing digital cinema, by locating the positions of the cinema theaters. Benefits can also be reaped for online transactions, wherein both buyer and seller can firmly execute the transactions at bay, in a secured manner. INTRODUCTION Geo-Encryption or positional encryption is a secured technique of transferring information over any communication channel by using positional parameters such as longitude, latitude and altitude, for both sender and receiver, as the key components to develop a “positional-lock”, which is used to encrypt the plain text that needs to be transferred over the communication channel. The proposed system uses the concept of QR coded image or Quick Response coded image, which provides a protective layer over the encrypted key component [15, 17]. QR Code is essentially a matrix barcode image, mostly two-dimensioned in nature, which was first introduced for automotive industry. The defining characteristic of QR Code, establishing its essentiality in the proposed work is its storage competence, which is comprehensively supplementary than traditional barcodes [15]. The proposed system introduces another facet of security by using the concept of sorting [20]. Sorting is commonly a methodology of organizing diverse data elements on the basis of certain parameters, or in other words, sorting can be stated as the data classification on the basis of characteristics/distinctiveness of related kind [20]. In the proposed system, sorting is being used to determine the order of parameters, on the basis of which positional-lock will be generated.
