4 Do You Know My Name? School Street Adobe, the only remaining structure from Mission Santa Cruz. Shown here as it stands today on the grounds of Holy Cross Church. Built between 1822 and 1824 by local Ohlone and Yokuts laborers, this adobe served as housing for local Native Americans. Lino’s daughter, Petra Nicanor, and her family lived in one of these rooms in the 1840s. (Courtesy of Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History)
