ABSTRACT Background. Someone may experience tooth crown decay by various causes and the damaged teeth may lead to reduced function of chewing, phonetics, aesthetics and psychological. In aesthetics aspects, it should at least mimic the natural tooth appearance. It remains a challenge for clinicians whether to choose different methods of treatment which is suited the best for this cases. Objectives. The aims of this study was to decide the proper dental treatment of discolored teeth with esthetics consideration as main objectives. Case history. A 25 years old woman presented with discolorization in central incisors. Intraoral examination showed no restoration, caries and fractures. Radiographics finding that the teeth has no longer vitals due to orthodontics treatment . Case management. The treatment of discolored tooth was endodontics treatment with lateral condesation technique followed by composite temporary restoration and prosthetics therapy by porcelain fused to zirconia based crown as final restoration. After endodontics treatment, the teeth were prepared for all ceramics crown and the application of provisional restoration using auto- polimerized resin (TEXTON). Zirconia based crown try-in applied a week after the procedures. Conclusion. Porcelain fused to zirconia restoration is considered as an alternative solution especially in case which discolored tooth need esthetically treated. Keyword: Dental treatment, porcelain fused to zirconia, discoloraization, aesthethics Pendahuluan Kerusakan mahkota gigi dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai penyebab, antara lain karies, trauma, dan atrisi yang berat. Kerusakan gigi geligi dapat mengakibatkan berbagai dampak seperti berkurangnya fungsi mastikasi, fonetik, psikologis, dan estetik. Kerusakan gigi yang membutuhkan perawatan estetik antara lain, kerusakan sepertiga hingga seluruh mahkota dan diskolorasi pada gigi anterior. Kerusakan gigi tersebut dapat dirawat dengan perawatan endo restoration. Perawatan endo restoration terdiri dari perawatan endodontik dan restorasi indirect (Zubaedah, 2009). Perawatan restorasi indirect dapat berupa restorasi mahkota jaket. Bahan restorasi mahkota jaket yang memiliki nilai estetik terbaik saat ini yaitu all porcelain. Bahan restorasi ini digunakan karena memiliki beberapa keuntungan antara lain hasil yang menyerupai gigi asli dengan translusensi yang baik, tidak menimbulkan alergi, memiliki biokompatibilitas yang baik, dapat dikoreksi kembali, dan dapat menghilangkan diastema. Mahkota jaket all porcelain juga memiliki kekurangan antara lain proses preparasi yang sulit dan biaya yang kurang terjangkau (Mihrazi, 2008). Bahan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi kekurangan bahan all porcelain salah satunya yaitu porcelain fused to metal (PFM). Porcelain fused to metal banyak digunakan sebagai pilihan restorasi mahkota jaket karena memiliki beberapa keuntungan yaitu memiliki estetik yang baik dari porcelain dan kekuatan yang baik dari metal. Kekurangan restorasi mahkota jaket PFM yaitu menimbulkan greyish discolorization pada servikal gingiva (Fahmy, 2012).
