Para ello se elaboró un cuestionario on-line con preguntas cerradas y abiertas en el que se preguntaba a los profesores sobre el uso que hacían de las diferentes metodologías docentes así como el grado de utilidad y las limitaciones para la adquisición de competencias en sus estudiantes. Los resultados obtenidos pusieron de maniiesto la existen- cia de una gran diversidad de metodologías utilizadas así como la presencia de semejanzas y diferencias de opinión respecto a la importancia y utilidad de las mismas en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Abstract This paper aims to identify the methodologies used by Spanish university professors, and relect on the variables that facilitate or hinder its use. An online questionnaire with closed and open-ended questions were developed and the professors were asked to rate their use of the different teaching methods and their degree of usefulness and limitations for skills acquisition. The results showed the existence of a diversity of methodologies used and the presence of similarities and differences of opinion regarding the importance and usefulness in the teach- ing-learning process.
