The centre was established “to promote awareness, build political commitment and trigger action on critical water issues at all levels, including the highest decision-making level, to facilitate the eficient conservation, protection, development, planning, management and use of water in all its dimensions on an environmentally sustainable basis for the beneit of all life on earth.” Published half yearly, the NDC-WWC journal focuses on the increasing concern on water policy issues of Indian community. Experiences gained from many water sector reforms being carried-out in different states are dissiminated to all concerned. The journal provides an effective vehicle for the improved national exchange of information on developments in water sector - and the experience gained there of - and is strongly committed to publishing papers on the interdisciplinary aspects of water sector policy issues including reforms etc..
