The study aims to analyze life components from people with SLE to create a guideline for developing a social network for them. With hoards of information along the Internet and user character complexity, the social network analysis uses R4 framework for developing social web detailed by Lean and Mean methodology. It summarizes the potention with percentage of 78% for nine privacy and policy set, 33% for three unique user aspects, and 55% for ten objects with its 88 features. To accurate the estimations, the multi-criteria component object are analyzed using the Analytic Hierarchy Process by 9.38% of consistency ratio. It prioritizes the three most important objects needed by people with SLE such as medicine corner by 17.8%, spaces 15%, and medical history 13.7%. I. INTRODUCTION ocial interaction is an event when two person or more is creating communication to influence each other [1]. One of the social interaction roles, social intervention, is used in healing traumatic experiences and increasing life expectation of people with chronic illness [2]. Previous study on the influence of social support, social network, social cohesion and health concludes that survival rates of people with illness in fair social interaction are higher than people with illness in inadequate social interaction [3]. In short, it is important for people with serious illness to maintain their social interaction quality for instance, the interactions which done by people with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). Most common known of SLE trigger are happiness and stress rates of its carrier. Therefore, maintaining a fair interaction helps to maximize the life quality of its carrier [4]. This concludes social intervention as an emotional support [5]. In addition, social intervention also has a function as an informational support. People with SLE needs this function since its disease has a thousand vary of symptoms which almost not similar to each carrier [4]. It concludes that exchanging information based on the experimental knowledge is needed to understand each person condition, to formulates the best treatment, and to decrease its diagnose ambiguity. From those facts, a digital media is needed to maintain the social intervention quality and the exchanging information process to support the emotional and informational support. Social network as a site that made by social action on its developing process can be used as the best digital media to overcome the problems. Social network can also overcome the issue that occurred to people with SLE in Indonesia, which is geographic, and mobility issues. Besides that, the research purpose to focus on people with SLE is due to its rapid increasing number of carrier according to Yayasan Lupus Indonesia [10]. Regarding the fact not only to overcome the emotional and informational support as mentioned. This paper also purpose on raising the awareness of SLE to readers. The social network analysis itself needs several area of research domain. Thus, this paper focuses its analysis based on a holistic framework called R4 framework. The R4 framework can coordinate different perspectives on the design and development process of a social web application (SWA) [6]. The R4 framework consists of four spheres: culture, user, business, and technology sphere. The culture sphere emphasis on community purposes and potential cultural concerns within the SWA (e.g. privacy and potential disturbances). The user sphere emphasis on identifying user types and tasks by user experience and user activity. The business sphere emphasis on the business values. The technology sphere emphasis on electing the essential features [6]. In this research, the culture and user sphere are used as the core of qualitative analysis to focus on the SWA context. While the technology sphere is used as the core of quantitative analysis to focus on measuring the Social Network Analysis for People with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus using R4 Framework Arin Karlina, Firman Ardiansyah Department of Computer Science Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics,Bogor Agricultural University Email: arin.karlina@gmail.com, f.ardiansyah@ipb.ac.id S ICACSIS 2014 204
