Coeicients γ p vary in the range (0,1) and can assume the value 1 if and only if P = I, so if all variables have been estimated without errors, and the value is 0 if and only if both P = 0 and R = I, so if the total variance of all variables consists only of the variance of the errors of estimate, the variables from V have a spherical normal distribution. Proof: If the total variance of each variable from some set of variables consists only of the variance of the errors of estimate, it is then necessary that E 2 = I and R = I, therefore all coeicients γ p equal zero. The irst part of the Proposition is evident from the deinition of coeicients γ p ; this means that reliability of each latent dimension, Original scientiic paper UDC 572.5.087:793.31.071.2(497.11) COBISS.SR-ID 214873612
