NOVOS MÉTODOS CURATORIAIS APLICADOS AOS MATERIAIS ARQUEOLÓGICOS: DA INTERVENÇÃO AO ACERVO Marjori Pacheco Dias * RESUMO Esse artigo tem por objetivo apresentar métodos curatoriais aplicados às peças arqueológicas desde a coleta em campo até a inserção destes no acervo no Laboratório, descrevendo o acondicionamento, a locomoção do sítio arqueológico para instituição, o registro das informações de campo, a maneira como são tratados os materiais na chegada ao laboratório, conservação e preservação de acordo com os procedimentos de curadoria. Além disso, o trabalho também visa à descrição dos métodos de curadoria e documentação dos materiais encontrados nas intervenções realizadas pela equipe do Laboratório de Estudos e Pesquisas Arqueológicas da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (LEPA-UFSM), estado do Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil desde 2012. ABSTRACT This text aims to present curatorial methods applied to archaeological pieces when they are collecting from the field until to their insertion in the collection at the Laboratory, describing the conditioning, locomotion from the archaeological site to the institution, the record of the information field, how they are treated on arrival at the laboratory, conservation and preservation in accordance with the procedures of curation.
