365 Creative Industry Collaboration for The Creative Portfolio Setya Chendra Wibawa setyachendra@unesa.ac.id Universitas Negeri Surabaya Abstract, Creative industry (CI) is an agile mix of design, computer programming, art, animation, storytelling, information architecture, and logic. Artists, architects, designers, and photographers have long been using portfolios as a means of demonstrating their particular skills and abilities as well as showcasing their accomplishments. The paper explore us about the power of short film as creative video portfolio about collaboration of some creative industries specially makeup artist, fashion designer, photographer also video grapher to reduce budget. The short film will be uploaded to youtube and also as video file media or in gadget which can be used as a personal portfolio when meetings clients or show the creative portfolio student. index short film, creative, portfolio I. INTRODUCTION According to Mabry (cited in Gerber & Bezuidenhout, (2002) a portfolio is a collection of samples of best work selected by a student to provide a broad view of his or her achievements. The concept of portfolios is, however, not new. Portfolios have been used by a wide variety of professionals such as stock-brokers, architects, photographers, models, artists, advertising managers, graphic designers, nurses, teachers, publishers and sales managers to provide evidence of their work (Farr, 1991). [1] The project combined majors in interactive media or game design provide the breadth and resources to offer all aspects of this deeply collaborative field. CI affords artists, engineers, and designers new opportunities to experiment and collaborate with a wide variety of fields, such as entertainment, business, medical research, training, and marketing. [4] The creative industries combined majors offer students an opportunity to understand and experience the disparate disciplines that contribute to content creation. These combined majors expose students to the historical significance of changing technology and media, while encouraging students to integrate their creative work with the skills they need in the rapidly growing field of creative and technical production. [5] The easy idea for people who have personal creative portfolio and then met a great job already in hand. This experiment is actually a personal experience when going to meet client. The clients want to see the results of our work and also look at the concepts that will be offered. The simple way to showcase our work is to show a short film with an interesting concept, beautiful model, a good makeup artist, glamorous clothes at any location. II.
