IHPA is in preparation for the Golden Jubilee Conference in Lucknow on March 1 & 2, 2014 and we call our brethren to participate in large numbers and make this event memorable and successful. In the current issue, there is an interesting letter to editor regarding the role of pharmacist regarding the counselling aspect regarding the transfat content in food items. There is a prescription pattern study to assess the level of generic prescription. There is an article on the clinical pharmacy services provided by the pharmacy practice department in a teaching hospital. This study was from JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysore considered as a pioneer in the pharmacy practice education in the country. There is a drug review on a new drug called Alagebrium for cardiac failure. This year, we are releasing all the issues as special editions for the golden jubilee celebrations (2014). We welcome research articles, review articles and issues relevant to practice of pharmacy to enlighten our professional colleagues in this year.
