Or what is the same are being offered to the spectators the contents that they would like to see, or are offered to him the products that are considered more profitable? What is being offered to him to the televising spectator? It is necessary to appeal to the ethics so that they offer quality products where the dignity of the spectator is respected. The mass media at present are in their totality into the hands of great communications groups that have political and ideological entailments. On the other hand the fight by the hearing is the other motor of the television. At the moment, more than to speak of ‘society of information’, one becomes necessary to speak of ‘society of spectacle’. The power is not as much the power to do, the political power, like the power to count, the mediatic power. The American Convention on Human rights or diverse the Spanish Constitution to traverse articles on the freedom of expression, the right to the privacy recognizing and protecting the rights of the individual to the honour, to the privacy to the own image and the protection of youth and the childhood, sustains the right bases than it would have to be the mediatic panorama. Starting off of these ideas we argued that the programming of TV, nowadays, is constructed to secure to the majors hearing levels and for it the contents are trivialized to the search of discursive values that arrive at the greater possible number of spectators. Series of own production, multiplication of programs of varieties, contests in which the fundamental rights of the human being are harmed relate a clear and evident degradation. The mentioned questions are based on the analysis of some of the formats that are being emitted at the moment in the grills of programming of the different chains from TV. As a conclusions, in this communication we stated the evident marginalisation of mediatic products, an infringement of the fundamental rights of the spectators and propose the creation of an independent critical platform of means, an alphabetization of the population from early ages so that the spectator becomes an active hearing, considering that a critical population is less manipulable.
