High blood pressure and cholesterol level, lack of physical activity, and unbalanced diet were found the common factors by both methods. Comparison of performance of methods showed that though the LR provides better specificity, sensitivity and total accuracy rate, the difference in performance based on area under the receiver operating characteristic curve was not found statistically significant. Use of both methods in epidemiology can help not only to identify important risk factors but to understand the relationship among predictors.
