Chapter 3 PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA This chapter presents the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered according to the specific problems of this study. Profile of the Grade 10 students According to First Language (L1) spoken. The first language (L1) spoken by the Grade 10 students is presented in Table 1. Tagalog/ Filipino 1 2.17 Total 35 100 N=35 It is revealed in table 1 that most of the Grade 10 students speak Cebuano as their L1. Cebuano speakers comprise 34 (97.83%) of the population. Only 1 (2.17%) have other L1 such as Tagalog/Filipino. This table shows that the sample is not considered as diversed in terms of their mother tongue for it only have two dialects.
