Underdeveloped countries havenȂt got educational practice and literature which developed countries possess. This manner brings about that some items and dimensions of the attitude towards gifted education scale at underdeveloped countries. In this study, Attitude Scale towards Gifted Education (ASGE) which adapted form to me (Tortop, 2012a) has been revised because of the reliability dimension. In this way, ASGE short form has been consisted of 14 items and three dimensions. Reliability internal consistency coefficient of the scale (total) was found to be α=Ŗ.ŞŖŗ. And subdimensions reliability internal consistency coefficient of Need and Support Dimension (.724), Resistance to Objections Dimension (.614), Ability Grouping Dimension (.749) was determined. Therefore, the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of ASGE short form were more satisfactory for research about gifted education especially experimental studies- in Turkey. In further research, it can be suggest that developing of newly attitude scale towards gifted education for Turkish teachers.
