The research method was descriptive – correlational. From among 16000 students at different education levels, a sample of 365 subjects were selected through random and multistage cluster sampling from among 12 fields of study and different educational levels. After distribution and completion of questionnaires: Snyder Hope Scale, Suicidal Ideation Scale and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, the data was analyzed. To analyze the data, Watson tests and Pearson correlation coefficient were used and to measure the normality of data distribution, Kolmogorov - Smirnov test was used.
