I. Introduction Importance of innovation in these days ? Most organizations trying to enhance their attempts to innovate, it seems mostly start with the assumption "to think out of the box," " MORE idea," or “we need to be innovative” to find a few ideas that could transform into possible new products or systems. However, innovation is not hampered by a lack of ideas, but rather a lack of noticing the good ideas which existed. Why Think and Act innovatively? Think and act innovatively is necessary for every organization, no matter it’s scale and scope, for various reasons but the common one is that innovation is important for nations', regions' economic growth and improvement. Innovation is not just about new products and technologies; innovation also includes new processes, new business systems, and new management methods - all have a significant impact on productivity and growth. There are many surveys confirm that innovation is important. According to “Innovation and commercialization, 2010: McKinsey Global Survey results”, it is shown that “…the share of executives saying their companies are good at commercialization rises to 45 percent among those that set formal strategic priorities for innovation, and to 56 percent among the respondents at companies with a very or extremely formalized process for commercializing innovations.” ( Capozzi, Gregg, and Howe) and also, the research undertaken by McKinsey during 2010 supports this with their survey reporting that “84 percent of executives say innovation is extremely or very important to their companies’ growth strategy”. ( Capozzi, Gregg, and Howe) Innovation and competitiveness People can be aware of the real potential to be innovative and to recognize this in others as well. People can think innovatively and how they can do things new better and different in their everyday work. And people can act to make a positive different to their colleagues, their company and lots of others. The impact of innovation depends on nature and scale which be applied. For a firm, it’s mean industry leadership and attracting top talents; for teams, it’s mean dynamic collaboration and proactive peak performance; for individual, innovation enable mean personal and career effectiveness and fulfillment in growth; for society and the environment, innovation that is socially responsible as well as sustainable. Think and Act innovative is what young Vietnamese generation need to do now. The executive from worldwide has been ranked innovation as one of the top three strategic priorities. Innovation no longer just for specialist and product development or quality improvement, it’s become a necessary co-competency for every person, every job, every day. Innovation can create a competitive advantage in the medium and long term; innovation is essential for sustainable development of the companies and the countries in the future.
