Promoting mental health is very important for sustainable development agenda as a disturbed mental health can produce psychological disorders and socio-phobia even with tendency of substance abusing. The aim of the study is to find out the knowledge status regarding the mental health integrity. In this study it was found that about 60% of the population tries to hide it, if s/he is in a mental disturbance whereas 50% don’t prefer to spend money to consult wi th the psychologist to receive the mental status. Moreover, the respondent answered that mental health can bring CNS or CV disease (90%) or highly disturbed mental health can lead to substance abuse. According to the study the most vulnerable population toward mental health problems are the adolescents and the aged people. However, best way to recover mental stability is sharing or personal intervention with sometimes medication therapies. The significant result of the study is that, the main challenge toward mental health stability is to avoid the depression and the depression can start form the family, friends or even from the social media. Thus it is very important to be aware of mental health status as physical health and socioeconomic productivity directly depends on the mental health. Introduction Mental health is state of well-being in which every individual can realizes own potential also copping with normal stresses of life [1]. In a stable mental health condition a person can work productively and fruitfully with having positive relationship and self steem therefore able to make a productive contribution to community [2]. Now a days’ mental health becomes one of the major issues that have taken the concern of global health agencies, as globally the burden of mental and substance abuse increased by 37·6% between 1990 and 2010 [3]. Approximately 450 million individuals worldwide are suffering from mental health disorders at any part of their total lifetime [4]. Majority of the mental disorders begin during the age of 12 to 24 and this poor mental health status is strongly related to other health and physical development related factors in young people, notably lower educational achievements, substance abuse or violence also with poor reproductive health [5]. Whereas the mental health becomes global concern but in South Asian region Depression become the biggest challenge in both youth generation and women [6]. As a result the South Asian countries are focusing on the development of the status of mental health of the population especially among the youth generation, who are in the major risk factors of mental health disorders. In the countdown, India is one of the leading countries in health services
