INTRODUCTION In design works and construction and assembly works, a growing number of fields are unachievable without using geodetic measurement techniques, as well as special construction techniques. In constructions were transformed fundamental measurement techniques for guidance, direction and control of the construction, which require precise measurement methods. This led to the creation of specific technologies, which implicitly was felt in means of measurements and measuring instruments. The range of classical geodetic instruments was completed with new high precision instruments, terrestrial laser scanning instruments, to which are added measuring instruments in physics and mechanical engineering. Using geodetic measurement methods in engineering measurements made in different fields of construction requires, in addition to providing precision requirements, choosing appropriate equipment and technology. This choice was imposed both of precision calculations "a priori" (required or theoretical) – starting from a maximum given allowable deviation 8 as and the knowledge of execution and assembly technologies.
