M.Nizar Syarif Hamidi, S.Kep, M.Kes HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP SISWA TENTANG GASTRITIS DENGAN KEJADIAN SUSPEK GASTRITIS DI SMA NEGERI 2 BANGKINANG TAHUN 2014 M.Nizar Syarif Hamidi, S.Kep, M.Kes Dosen S1 Keperawatan STIKes Tuanku Tambusai Riau ABSTRACT Gastritis is one of the diseases of digestive disorders which if not handled properly can lead to several complications including intraktibilitas peptic ulcer, bleeding, and gastric cancer. Gastritis disease incidence increased since the past 5-6 years and can attack all gender and age aemua. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of students' knowledge and attitudes about suspected gastritis gastritis with events at SMAN 2 Bangkinang 2014. The design used in this study was a descriptive cross sectional analytic approach, which studies the relationship of knowledge and attitudes about gastritis with suspected incident gastritis in SMAN 2 Bangkinang 2014, using total sampling as many as 324 students. Data collection was performed using primary data through questionnaires with univariate and bivariate analysis. The survey results revealed that knowledge of students of SMAN 2 Bangkinang of gastritis are in a lower category as many as 169 people (52.2%) and the attitude of students of SMAN 2 Bangkinang against gastritis in the negative category as many as 165 people (50.9%). After a bivariate analysis, obtained a significant correlation between the incidence of suspected gastritis knowledge to students at SMAN 2 Bangkinang with a p value of 0.003 (p <0.05), and no significant relationship between the attitude of the suspected occurrence of gastritis in SMAN 2 Bangkinang with p value of 0.001 (p <0.05). Expected for health workers to be able to provide counseling in schools for students to increase knowledge of gastritis.
