1 CHAPTER 1 INTRODUCTION In teen life, the senior year in high school is being considered by many as one of the best and exciting years. There are a lot of things that come first time to seniors in different ways. And as they gain independence, they are able to be more free in terms of having extra time with their peers. The social sphere of a senior expands and his attentions are directed to a lot of things. In the same pursuit of ideas, different activities emerge on a senior which they enjoy and look forward to such as proms, graduation, and therefore making it evident that the transition from high school to college are indeed memorable to them. It wouldn’t be disregarded and detached that all of these satisfactions are just one side of high school life, during these years they are subjected to a lot of responsibilities which will be dominated by the fact that they are in transition to adulthood, they are under preparation. Hence the decisions they make will have its consequences later in their maturity as they progress. The senior year will be a period of uncertainty for teenagers. The point in their life where they have attained proper education from institutions would direct them into deciding what course to take and what university or college to go to. Students often are undecided up to the last minute as to what college course he or she will finally enroll. The inability to make a decision about the vocation one
