This period was also one of fragmentation of the working class as a whole in most industrialized countries, where Fordism and Keynesianism revealed the limits of their potential by paving the way for the emergency of a new regime of capitalist accumulation. In Portugal, this period was     ’        and by the recent memory of the revolutionary years of 1974-1975. Starting from the case of the   , where a working class movement with strong traditions of struggle coexisted with a deep industrial crisis, it is intended to reflect on the process of crisis and restructuring of the Portuguese economy in the 80s, following the process of workers' recomposition. For this, oral history will be a centerpiece as an instrument of inquiry into the past and present in which the past is remembered, allowing to deepen the knowledge about the subjectivity of the workers within a framework of class composition, decomposition and recomposition.
