Com a investigação dos valores de condutividade elétrica aparente para diferentes profundidades, foi possível aferir os limites do aterro em superfície e em profundidade. Drenagens potencialmente contaminadas puderam ser indicadas. Foram sugeridas alternativas para atestar os resultados obtidos neste trabalho e, consequentemente, reduzir ou eliminar os riscos de contaminação ambiental e danos à saúde. Palavras Chaves: Geofísica Aplicada, Contaminação, Chorume ABSTRACT This work helped to understand the distribution and evolution of the contamination (slurry) in the sanitary landfill of the city of Ouro Preto - MG. With an investigation of the apparent electrical conduction values for different depths, it was possible to gauge the landfill limits in surface and depth. Potentially contaminated drains could be indicated. There are alternative suggestions for attesting the results obtained at work and, consequently, reducing or eliminating the risks of environmental contamination and damage to health.
