Abstract University libraries are the units in which scientific ideas were become practices and research were made. It’s puƌpose to support scientific research and developments in universities, which was connected to, and neighborhood. Librarianship operations and services take place thank to software automation program in almost all libraries which developing and adǀaŶĐiŶg, gƌoǁiŶg ƌiĐh ǁith puďliĐatioŶ, tƌaĐkiŶg sĐieŶĐe’s ƌeĐeŶt data. Smart Library Automation system is a automation which remembers the users of the library automation system was developed for to ease the burden on libraries and make users of the library use the library more active. This software is coded by using the web based programming techniques. This automation is aimed with the large and detailed catalog search and by using few keywords to reach correct more information and documents also availability wide information of the books, theses and publications in the libraries. Especially information like table of contents, preface abstract of printed publications, are may convert to text with and per sace to database this text. So that users can access the accurate information easily. Semantic Network and top of the data systems, discussed, and frequently used in applications at these days, thanks to Smart Library Automation information like table of contents, preface and abstract interpreted by software and some parts of these information are cataloged automatically. Thanks to this software, users could access to was proper publication, book or thesis of keywords on web environment and they also could see the state of accessibility In this system, we used Visual C#, AspNET as programming language and MsSQL Server 2008 Server as database. Software had modular system with three layers of design.
