Çandır'da uygulanan organik tarım projesinin eko-turizm ile desteklenmesi planlanmıştır. Çandır, eko-turizm arzının temel parçalarını oluşturan zengin doğal yapısı, tarihi ve kültürel kaynakları nedeniyle örnek çalışma alanı olarak seçilmiştir. Halk Çandır'ın zengin bir turizm potansiyeline sahip olduğunu fakat bu potansiyeli yeterince kullanamadığını düşünmektedir. Çandır halkı aynı zamanda turizmin gelişmesi için turizm yatırımlarının artması gerektiğini ve turizmin şehirde istihdam olanaklarını artıracağını düşünmektedir. Eko-turizme dönük yatırımların yapılması, köyün önemini arttıracaktır. Ancak tarihi ve doğal güzelliklerin gelecek nesillere bozulmadan aktarılması için sahip çıkılması gerekmektedir. Araştırma, yerel halkın model eko-köy projesi çerçevesinde organik tarım, çevre ve eko-turizm konularında farkındalıklarının tespiti amacıyla yapılmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Çandır, Eko-köy, Eko-turizm, Organik Tarım, Çevre EVALUATION OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURE BASED ECO-TOURISM APPLICATIONS OF ORGANIC AGRICULTURE: ÇANDIR VİLLAGE AS THE SAMPLE ABSTRACT Environmental problems reach to the threatening dimensions. This has led to the development of sustainable perspectives to protect the ecological system balances. One of the core reasons is the intensive use of chemical inputs in agriculture in order to increase production dramatically. Organic farming is a form of agriculture in which chemical inputs are strictly excluded. Eco-villages are models of sustainable settlements in cultural, ecological and economic context. Çandır was preferred for the case study because of its rich natural, historical and cultural resources which were seen as main parts of eco-tourism supply. People of Çandır think that Çandır has a rich tourism potential but can’t use this potential. In addition to this, people of Çandır think that Çandır has some infrastructure problems. Local people think that investment of tourism should be increased to improve tourism and tourism can raise the possibility of employment, also. Eco-tourism in making investments, will increase the importance of the village. But is it necessary to protect the historical and natural beauty to be transferred intact to future generations.
