ABSTRACT
The Planar Inverted-F antenna is increasingly of new multi band mobile Phone
industry for transceiver system. In this paper is to develop the Planar Inverted-F
Antenna, antenna for Phone transceiver system. The Design Planar Inverted-F Antenna,
antenna, it can be operated in resonating frequency S-Band range. The antenna at a
quarter wave length, so reduce the antenna size and return loss. The results exhibit a
appropriate operation of the antenna in expressions of return loss, bandwidth of 700
and 300MHz, efficiency, gain at preferred bands, the antenna is a good candidate for
wireless communications.
Key words: Planar Inverted-F Antenna, HFSS

1. INTRODUCTION
The Antenna is an electromagnetic radiator, sensor, transducer, which converts Electrical waves
into Electromagnetic waves and vice versa.[1][2]. It is usually used with transducer. There are
two categories: one is transmitting antenna and another one is receiving antenna. In the
receiving section which captures RF energy and transports alternating current to electronic
equipment, and the transmitting section, which is fed with AC power supply from electronic
equipment and generates an RF energy [3][4].
Antennas can be classified in various categories, like Log Periodic array antennas, Wire
antennas, travelling wave antennas, Microwave antennas and Reflector antennas. Log-Periodic
Antennas: It is also named as a log periodic antenna array. It is a directional narrow beam
antenna that efforts on a wide-ranging range of frequencies.
