In particular, her translation of the poem “Či dæ”, written by the Ossetian poet Kosta Khetagurov, gives us the possibility to compare three slightly diferent versions. The analysis of the translation variants allows a glimpse of Akhmatova’s smithy, pointing out to the fact that she performed this extremely dificult task very scrupulously. At the end the three versions of the Russian text are synoptically edited.
